「Under 35 Architects exhibition 35歳以下の若手建築家による建築の展覧会」の第18回目の開催にあたり、今年も出展者を一般公募いたします。若手建築家としてこれからの活躍を期待される35歳以下の出展候補者を募り、2027年秋に開催致します。

本展では、これからの活躍が期待される若手建築家に発表の機会を与え、これからの建築の可能性を提示し、多くの人に向けた展示・発表を行うことを目的としています。

そして、展覧会より優秀な展示作品を1点審査選出し、Under 35 Architects exhibition 2027 Gold Medalと、歴代Gole Medal受賞建築家から、Under 35 Architects exhibition 2027 White Medalを授与致します。

AAF (Art and Architect Festa) is pleased to officially announce the Call for Entries for the 18th annual exhibition, "Under 35 Architects exhibition" that will be held in Autumn 2027. We encourage new generation of Architects to contribute for the future. Thus, all under-35 Architects are given opportunity to participate in this exhibition.
In this exhibition, young architects are given the opportunity to measure their abilities and express their ideas for the future architecture to the society.
One outstanding work during the exhibition will be selected for the “U-35 Gold Medal”,and We will present the White Medal—selected by past Gold Medal recipients—to one individual.
We are looking forward for your application. Please find applications detail in the following.

【応募資格】
1. 1991年4月生まれ以降の方。2027年3月末日時点で、35歳以下の独立した建築家。
2. 原則として、大学・大学院（博士課程を除く）企業、建築設計事務所の組織に所属せず、独立した設計活動を行っている建築家（応募者本人が設計事務所の開設者や管理建築士もしくは、創業者や主宰者といたします）。 
3.個人・パートナー・グループの別は問いません（ただし、パートナー・グループの場合は、代表者を必ず含むものとし、全員が上記の条件を満たすこと）。※応募後の変更は認められません。

【Eligibility】
1. Those born in April 1991 or later. Applicant must be 35 years old or younger, as of March 31st 2027.
2. Applicant must be independent and does not belong to any institution or organization, such as     
College/University（except for PhDs/Doctorate Degrees）, or Architectural Firm（except for the founder or representative）.
3. Application may be individual or Group（as long as each member qualifies stated conditions）

【選出基準】
展覧会に向けての公募は、これまでの約7組全てを公募で募るのではなく、公募（自薦）、指名（他薦）の中から選出するプログラムへと変更している。公募はこれまで通り応募者の中から選考により1-6組程度を選出する。指名はアワードを選考するひと世代上の建築家7名と建築史家2名の9名のうち、当年審査委員長を担う建築家・史家を除く8名がそれぞれ1組づつ推薦。この8組の指名枠から、1-6組程度を選出する。計7組を当年の審査委員長が選出することとする。
※ 出展者募集の変更は、2017年10月21日に、アワードを選考する出展者よりひと世代上の建築家8名と建築史家2名の10名が出席した「10会議」で決定された内容。（2018年・展覧会図録に掲載）
※上記の変更目的は、展覧会の質の向上のため、公募枠による自薦と指名枠による他薦を含む、複層した出展者らにこの建築の展覧会を位置づけてもらおうと期待をするものである。
※ 指名（他薦）による推薦は、下記9名の建築家・建築史家により選考されます。

【Criteria】
Application and selection criteria have changed. It is divided into 3 categories: 1-6 general application slots, 1-6 recommended candidate slots. A general applicant is a candidate who is self-recommended. Nominated Candidates refer to candidates nominated from among 7 guest architects and 2 architectural historians.
This change in criteria arose from a “10-person meeting” held after the symposium on 21 October 2017 and is now in force. (Details of the “10-person meeting” can be found in the management book 2018)
※ The changes are made to encourage more applicants for the improvement of the exhibition quality.
※ Recommended nominee candidates will be selected and endorsed by the following architects & architectural historians.

【審査方法】
審査委員長 平田晃久氏による書類審査（履歴書・ポートフォリオ）にて選考の上、必要に応じ面接審査を行い出展者の選出を行います。

【Evaluation Process】
All entries (CVs, Portfolios) will be evaluated by the appointed Jury, Architect,Akihisa Hirata.
We might contact some of the applicants for further interview, if necessary.

		平田晃久（ひらた・あきひさ）建築家 Akihisa Hirata, Architect 1971年大阪生まれ。97-05年伊東豊雄建築設計事務所勤務。05年平田晃久建築設計事務所設立。現在、京都大学教授。第13回ベネチアビエンナーレ金獅子賞（日本館）、22年日本建築学会賞など多数を受賞。

【選出数】
定めはありませんが会場規模・構成の都合上、全ての出展者計7組程度の選出を行います。
（内訳：公募による選出1-6組程度、指名による選出1-6組程度。）

Expecting 7 qualified entries depending on the final venue size & layout.

【出展条件】
出展作品の制作費、説明会（現地）、搬入・搬出、ギャラリー・トーク、シンポジウム時の旅費、その他展示に要する費用は出展者のご負担となりますので、予めご了承ください。

また、開催スケジュールに基づき、出展者説明会・座談会、シンポジウム、ギャラリートーク、搬入搬出日等、全日程出席できることが必須となります。

【Conditions】
Each exhibitor is responsible for all production cost, installation, dismantling, loading and unloading, transportation, accommodation and other necessary costs and expenses.

In addition, it is essential to be able to attend all schedules, such as exhibitor briefing session, roundtable discussion, symposium, gallery talk, carry-in and carry out date, etc., based on the holding schedule.

1. 本展開催中には、約1万人の方々が来場され、一般者を含む多くの方々へ発表する舞台となる。
2. シンポジウムにゲストとしてご登壇される建築家へ、考えや作品が認知される。
3. 建築界においてのゼネコンや組織設計事務所、メーカーや学生等、世代を超えた交流が生まれる。

※ Each prize: GOLD MEDAL PRIZE and WHITE MEDAL (biennially) will be awarded to the respected young architect (or team) for having the most outstanding exhibit work and personality.

【出展作品の取り扱い】
1. 出展作品は、規定の期間内に展覧会場（うめきたSHIPホール）に各自が責任を持って搬入・搬出・展示してください。なお、搬入・搬出・展示作業中の事故等に関しては、主催者は責任を負いません。
2. 作品の展示にあたっては、施設の職員と協議し、施設の使用条件を厳守してください。
3. 展覧会会期中の作品警備や取り扱いには万全の注意を払いますが、万が一、災害や不慮の事故により作品が損傷した場合、主催者は責任を負いません。
4. 出展作品の著作権は出展者に帰属しますが、主催者が行う作品の撮影、模写、印刷及び広報に関す る写真、情報提供についてはそれを許諾することを条件とします。
5. 出展候補者決定後、並びに展覧会の準備期間中、もしくは展示期間中に、開催スケジュールに従い、提出期限を越え実施に支障を生じた場合は、出展の中止について予告なく協議することがございます。予めご了承ください。

【Exhibition Rules & Regulations】
1. Each exhibitor is responsible for own exhibit set up as well as necessary loading and unloading. The Organizer is not responsible for any damage or accident during the operation.
2. Follow all facility restrictions. Please consult the facility staff for all detail.
3. All exhibits and portions thereof must fully comply with applicable health, fire, and safety regulations. No combustible materials. Flammable materials and fluids must be kept in safety containers. The Organizer is not responsible any damage or accidents in case of fire.
4. Copyright of exhibit works belongs to the exhibitor; however the organizer has the rights to use or provide photos or contents for any media related actions.
5. During the preparation and exhibition period, suspension may be applied in case of any violation or trouble caused by the exhibitor or related to the exhibitor, including the exhibition space.
